Boycott Fun Ford Weekend

For Mustang enthusiasts and fans of the racing series: Fun Ford Weekend (www.funfordevents.com), I'm calling for a boycott of their events. Here is the reason:

One of the top racers in the FFW organization is a man from Overton, TX named SD Wheeler. He is the 2006 Ultra Stang Champion and currently #7 in the same class. What most people don't know, though, is that SD Wheeler has thousands of dollars in outstanding debts to fellow enthusiasts (the total has been estimated at $65,000.00).
Several years ago, on several Mustang-related forums, primarily corral.net - SD Wheeler marketed Performance-Improved heads for Modular Mustangs. The orders rushed in, but the parts seldom shipped out. In just a few months, nearly a hundred thousand dollars of outstanding orders were waiting for refunds. Unfortunately, Mr Wheeler had spent the money and was unable to honor the agreement to send out product, or provide refunds.
To make a long story short, corral.net did a good job at ensuring he would not scam any more of their members. I myself went to small claims court and won a default judgement in Overton, TX (not surprisingly, Mr Wheeler did not show up) in May of 2004. The local officials have been unable to collect this judgment and I assumed Mr Wheeler disappeared into anonymity.

Not so. Much to my surprise, Mr Wheeler has been running an expensive racing campaign in the aforementioned "Fun Ford Weekend" series. When I discovered this fact on the forums on FFW's website, I made a thread to inform others of the enormous debt that Mr Wheeler had not paid. It was promptly deleted. Any further discussion regarding the topic was immediately deleted without a word.

If you choose to either attend or participate in a FFW event, please consider the policy that the administration has allowed, such that a person like Mr Wheeler is not only welcome in their midst, but protected against the victims of his crimes. If your suggestion to me is to exact some sort of punishment in the form of bodily harm, save your breath. I do not wish Mr Wheeler physical harm. But I cannot stand idly by, while he campaigns a racing program that costs thousands of dollars. Dollars that belong to hard working individuals all around the country.

Boycott Fun Ford Weekend. Don't allow it to be a haven for people like Mr Wheeler, who are free to continue taking advantage of the innocent.
